PHOTO: FILE KARACHI: Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited (PSMCL) has reduced car prices, a decrease ranging from Rs5,000 to Rs100,000, with effect from April 7, 2014. Suzuki Mehran VXR price has been cut by Rs5,000, Cultus by Rs10,000, Ravi by Rs10,000, Bolan by Rs10,000, Swift by Rs20,000, and Liana by Rs100,000. Pak Suzuki is the largest car assembler in Pakistan and becomes the last company to reduce car prices after Indus Motors, local affiliate of Toyota Motors, and Honda Atlas Cars, local affiliate of Honda Japan. All three car assemblers in the country have reduced prices in the wake of the Pakistani rupee's appreciation against the US dollar, which has had an impact on their costs.
